The best Mexican food I’ve tasted after years of extensive travel, this place is a hidden gem in the rolling cow pastures of Alabama. The classic vibe you want to feel homey and happy, drinks made to order, super fast and friendly service, authentic decor, and an owner who will go out of his way to accommodate even large rambunctious parties like ours, do yourself a favor and put this on your Must Try list while traveling in Alabama.
This place has great service. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food is great and mind the plates they are hot.
Fajitas were extrremely bland. I do not believe a spec of seasoning was sprinkled to it as it was prepared. The shrimp was plump and juicy however without the proper spices it had such a raw fish taste and smell I could hardly choke it down. Then requested very light jalapeños to be cooked with the mixture, which added a 1.50 to the total for three ⅛ inch slices.

Rancho is hands down the best Mexican food in Alabama. The staff are so friendly and the food is always fantastic! Rancho is always our favorite meal.
